En torno al lenguaje (1984)
Rubens.
Wedlock
can be
a frenzy of the blood.
The painter thanks Helena Fourment
beyond life
for disclosing to him
this joy.
She, the initiator, appears in the paintings
as she had been seen by probing eyes.
If we look closely,
we'll see the portrait of his first wife
depicting a certain aridness;
but that one of Helena, however,
bursts into desire
from the canvas.
Let us sanctify this bed
where the pagan blood found reverent flesh
